As the Academic Year 2025–2026 draws to a close & with graduation ahead, the 2026 Student Councillors and Madam President came together for a special bonding session to reflect on a year of leadership, service, and shared accomplishments. 

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝

The student councillors arranged visits to Dochula Pass, nearby meditation caves and Aum Toebzam Farm house in time for the peach season . These serene surroundings provided an opportunity for students to reflect on their journey, and celebrate the relationships built throughout the year with our Madam President.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬

A discussion session was held during the bonding session where the student councillors shared their experiences, achievements and lessons learned throughout their tenure. The open exchange with our GCIT President highlighted the importance of leadership skills, communication, and teamwork in fostering a thriving college community. Madam President shared her gratitude to all 2026 student councillors for their commitment and is very thankful for their nurturing leadership as an example to all students of GCIT.

The day event concluded with fun activities, Tik Tok and a happy Bhutanese feast at the farmhouse.
