GCIT-UNDP Hackathon

Congratulations to team Zero Pixel, consisting of Year 4s Dorji Thogmey, Tandin Dorji, Tashi Wangyel, and Year 3s Tandin Wangmo and Kinley Zangmo, who won the grand prize of USD 5,000 during the intense 72-hour hackathon organized by GCIT in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), GovTech Agency, and Legal Aid Center from August 9 to 11. Their innovative data management system for the Legal Aid Center (LAC) will be implemented in the coming months. The competition featured 11 teams demonstrating remarkable technical skills, with support from 8 mentors from DHI, Selise, GCIT, and others. Additionally, runner-up prizes of USD 1,000 each were awarded to the teams Xceed Studio, NoMind, Aster, and Innov8tors. The college extends its congratulations to the winners and all participants for showcasing their exceptional talent.
