Empowering Women in the Bhutanese Film Industry Through Training and Advocacy

The workshop on “Empowering Women in the Bhutanese Film Industry Through Training and Advocacy,” held from August 31 to September 1 at GCIT, was a resounding success. Hosted by the MMD club and led by the Film Association of Bhutan (FAB), the event featured hands-on sessions with industry experts. Day one covered essential filmmaking techniques like lighting, editing, framing, and sound, while day two focused on film direction and production. The interactive sessions allowed participants to engage directly with professionals, boosting their skills and celebrating the vital role of women in Bhutan’s film industry.
