From April 13 to 18, 2026, the GCIT campus came alive with excitement as the Tarayana Club kicked off a vibrant Khuru competition. Bringing together both students and staff, the event was a joyful celebration of Bhutanese tradition, filled with laughter, cheers, and friendly rivalry.

Over the days, the atmosphere only grew more energetic with teams showcasing their skills, spirit, and love for the game. From thrilling shots to lively banter, the competition truly captured the heart of Bhutanese culture.

The competition wrapped up with Team “Say Gay Nya” claiming the championship trophy , while “Aura” secured a well-deserved runner-up spot 

More than just a game, this initiative beautifully highlighted the importance of preserving our rich cultural heritage while strengthening bonds within the GCIT community.
