Today, organized under GCIT Zhidheyling, we had the privilege of hosting a meaningful training session led by Ms. Sonam Zangmo from RENEW , focused on empowering peer helpers within the college.

The session was specially arranged for students who often serve as the first point of contact for their peers, including class CRs, college counsellors, and club coordinators. Through this initiative, participants were equipped with essential skills to better support fellow students, recognize early signs of concern, and provide timely and effective assistance. 

GCIT extends its sincere gratitude to RENEW and Ms. Sonam Zangmo for their valuable contribution in strengthening student support systems and fostering a more caring and responsive campus community.
