Final Pitches for the AI4Tarayana Challenge at GCIT

The final pitches for the AI4Tarayana Challenge, a hackathon organized by Gyalposhing College of Information Technology in partnership with the Tarayana Foundation, and supported by Bond Capital Singapore and Bhutan Insurance Limited, are currently underway at the GCIT campus.
Centered on the theme “Empowering Rural Communities with AI,” the top 10 finalist teams have spent the past two days refining their solutions with support from technical and business mentors from GCIT and the Tarayana Foundation. They are now pitching their ideas to a panel comprising representatives from GCIT, the Tarayana Foundation, and Bhutan Insurance Limited.
The winners will be announced this afternoon during the Closing Ceremony. The top three teams will receive cash prizes of Nu 100,000, Nu 75,000, and Nu 50,000, respectively. The remaining seven teams will each receive Nu 2,500.
