48th Blood Donation Camp at GCIT

calendar_monthOctober 01, 2026

The GCIT community came together yesterday for the 48th Blood Donation Camp, with 120 students and staff taking part and 91 successfully donating blood. While 28 participants were deferred due to health and eligibility requirements, their willingness to step forward and contribute is equally appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you to all our students and staff who donated, volunteered, and supported the camp, and to the Bhutan Red Cross Society (BRCS), Faculty of Nursing and Public Health (FNPH), and the National Blood Bank, JDWNRH, for making the camp possible. Initiatives like these remind us that being part of GCIT is also about compassion, community, and giving back. Every drop counts.
