Yesterday, the Royal Bhutan Police conducted a sensitisation programme for our staff and students on drug use, drug-related offences, crime prevention, and the legal consequences associated with such activities.

Led by Colonel Passang Dorji, Deputy Chief of Police, Crime and Operations Department, the session focused on strengthening awareness about the risks and consequences of drug use and drug-related offences. It also covered crime prevention, relevant laws and regulations, and the importance of making responsible choices to avoid situations that could lead to criminal involvement.

Colonel Passang Dorji delivered the session in an engaging manner, using humour, impressions, and interactions while addressing the serious issues surrounding drugs and crime. His approach kept the students attentive and engaged, making the discussion more relatable.

The college would like to express our appreciation to the Royal Bhutan Police for taking the time to engage with the students and sharing their knowledge, and experience for a safer and more responsible community.
