Research is becoming an increasingly important part of GCIT’s journey towards innovation, knowledge creation, and evidence-based decision-making. The Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), GCIT conducted a Faculty Training Workshop on Research Processes, supporting faculty in building research capacity and taking meaningful steps towards more focused and impactful research.

Facilitated by Dr. Kezang Yuden, the workshop provided faculty members with valuable insights into conducting research, from identifying and refining research topics to understanding research gaps through literature review.

The session included an interactive group activity on identifying research topics, allowing participants to apply their understanding and explore potential areas of research, followed by presentations of their research topics through poster displays.  

The workshop marks a step towards establishing a stronger research culture at GCIT, one that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and research that can contribute to meaningful solutions for Bhutan and beyond.
