GCIT Research Centre of Excellence (RCE) & Agentic Workflow

calendar_monthAugust 31, 2026

Rukha Digital Village
GCIT & Tarayana together with Singapore Bond Capital Qore3 (equity tech firm) & Switzerland Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) have come together as part of GCIT (RCE) to work on digitalising and educating Tarayana Rukha Village with Token-Economics, Blockchain and the use of Web3 Agentic Wallet.

On August 22-24 (2026), GCIT and Tarayana Faculty Researchers, together with our Madam President and Mr Jeffrey Cheong of Bond Capital, visited Rukha, Wangdue Phodrang, for an initial village assessment and primary research. The team had a memorable time engaging with the Rukha community to understand its existing practices and opportunities for Blockchain Digital Solutions.

Blockchain to Multi-Agent AI

The research initiative also connects with our recent Multi-Agent AI Development with Karpathy LLM Wiki Workshop, held on August 26-28th. The workshop was led by Jeffrey Cheong, Head of Partnerships at Qore3, Bond Capital with experience in decentralized systems, Web3, and blockchain-based solutions across Agentic Platforms.

GCIT Faculty and Students were introduced to a new approach in Agentic AI Development that moves beyond traditional RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)  agents that can retain context, learn from previous work, and build upon their outputs over time. Rather than treating every task as a fresh starting point, participants explored how intelligent systems can progressively compound their work and capabilities and build their own Second Brand, the specialty of Karpathy LLM.

Building What Comes Next
For GCIT, this is about creating a sustainable learning and research environment where students and faculty researchers can learn by working on applied work and directly from industry and community-led projects.

We look forward to taking these initiatives further and exploring what we can build together as GCIT continues to foster and build local and international partnerships in Med-Tech, Fin-Tech and Cyber-Tech ecosystems.
