It was a meaningful day yesterday for our GCIT students as they joined Bridges of Wisdom: Elder Stories to Inspire Young Voices, held in celebration of International Youth Day 2026 at RUB Convention Hall.  The event brought together young people and elders to share stories, ideas, experiences, and lessons that connect our past with the future. 

Our students also had the opportunity to showcase the ideas they developed following months of intensive, hands-on training at the GCIT CET Agency. The event provided a valuable platform for them to present their ideas, connect with inspiring individuals, and learn from the experiences and insights shared throughout the day.

One of our students, Zogdrel Zangmo (Third-year BC), shared her experience:
“Grateful to have been part of today’s Youth Bhutan Day Program, where we got the opportunity to showcase our rental platform idea aimed at making finding rental spaces in Bhutan easier, more organized, and reliable. What started from a simple struggle of searching for an apartment became an idea we were excited to share. A big thank you to GCIT for the support and to the organizers for creating a space where young people can share, learn, and be inspired. It was truly a meaningful day filled with learning, exposure, and memories.”
