The level 2 of Youth Tech-novation: Empowering Youth through Digital Skills, themed Advanced Digital Skills and Entrepreneurship has been successfully completed with final pitching conducted on May 23, 2026.

The level 2 training targeting youths, focused on providing specialised, marketable technical skills that are essential for entry-level roles in the digital economy

The programme was designed to equip participants with specialised knowledge in areas such as web and app development through vibe coding, data analysis and visualisation, and emerging technologies. A total of 47 participants actively engaged in hands-on learning sessions, collaborative activities, and project development aimed at solving real-world challenges through digital innovation.

This initiative has created a platform for participants to apply classroom knowledge into practical projects while enhancing creativity, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. It also encouraged innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among participants , helping them gain confidence in developing technology-driven solutions and preparing them for future academic and professional opportunities.

The three selected digital project ideas developed during the programme will further contribute towards nurturing a culture of innovation and preparing participants for competitive platforms for the upcoming Hackathon in May or June of this year

The initiative was led by the Programme and Youth Coordination Division under the Department of Education Programmes, MOESD in collaboration with UNICEF Bhutan.
