Phurpa Dorji and Sonam Wangchuk, both fourth-year AI students at Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology, proudly represented Bhutan at the Investment Dialogue in Bangkok, a prestigious two-day programme held from November 26 to 27. The event brought together entrepreneurs from Nepal, India, and Bhutan, global investors, and renowned organisations, with ICIMOD as the main organiser.

With only three participants from Bhutan, it was a moment of immense pride to see our students engage at such an international platform. Throughout the event, they connected with industry leaders, exchanged forward-thinking ideas, and explored potential collaborations to support Bhutan’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. They described the experience as inspiring, enriching, and a valuable opportunity to learn from visionary experts while proudly representing both their country and college on the global stage.
