A Civic and Voter Education Session was successfully conducted by the Election Commission of Bhutan in collaboration with the Dzongkhag Election Office, Thimphu, on May 6, at GCIT. The session brought together staff and students for an informative and engaging afternoon dedicated to strengthening civic awareness.
Participants gained a deeper understanding of Bhutan’s electoral process, along with their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Key topics included democratic participation, voter registration, and the importance of informed civic engagement. Students showed strong interest and active involvement, making the session both meaningful and impactful.
