As GCIT is gearing up to be Bhutan’s leading edge ICT Education hub, a flagship Teaching & Learning Conference has been designed to enhance the knowledge and confidence of the faculty members on the new technologies and skills. The inaugural GCIT-TLC 2021 kicked off with 10 days of intensive immersive learning workshops, starting from 1 Dec 2021. All the faculty members, School of Computing and School of Digital Media Development, as well as ICT-LAB team are invited to participate in the workshops.
The School of Computing Faculty members get to :
Step into the shoe of a Full Stack Developer and deployed web-based leave application onto Heroku Cloud.
Develop Machine Learning Models to make prediction for practical problems.
Working on Consortium, Private and Public Blockchain environments and dabbling with Dapps coding.
The Faculty Members of both Schools also get exposure to :
Create logos and signages for campus using the newly acquired knowledge in Digital Design Principles and graphic tools.
Develop a high-fidelity prototype for a restaurant application incorporating UI/UX elements.
Design Thinking and applying the concept as a process of innovation for general education and daily life.
